Make a simple sign with EZboard, Step 2

The next step is to apply the pattern. I created this simple pattern using the Pattern Wizard. Seeing as it measured 24″ x 36″ it automatically printed on several sheets of paper. I taped them together and using graphite paper I traced the letters.

Then I clamped the sign to the top of my workbench so it would not slide around.
I used a 1/2″ carbide bit in my router to create the lettering. In 30 minutes I was done with the lettering.
I would have preferred to hand carve the letters but my customer wanted it to look like a park sign.
