Make a simple sign with EZboard, Step 1

My customer wants a sign that looks like the state park signs. They are simple wood signs with the lettering cut out with a router.
When I suggested making it from high-density urethane, EZboard, and explained that it would hold up to all weather conditions and would be cost comparable to wood, she saw the light!
This sign is made from 3/4″ EZboard, 36″ wide x 24″ high.
I cut out the blank on my table saw and the concave corners on my bandsaw (a jigsaw would work just as well).
Light sanding on the edges and it was ready for paint.
Two coats of Rust-Oleum  Ultra Cover 2X, Gloss Khaki
I’ll let it dry overnight before the next step.
